Through the 2013/14 2015/16 season Dr Jonathan worked as the personal performance coach to Joey Barton, QPR FC, Rangers FC & Burnley FC. In addition to the provision of 1-1 physical preparation sessions, consultancy was provided regarding travel, post-match recovery, restorative sleep, & stress management. A close working relationship was established with Joey’s nutritionist, Dr David Dunne, and Steve Black, Joey’s mentor.
